Resophonic banjo

A completely unique instrument, whose construction and design are completely unique in our model. Instead of a head, this banjo has a decorative brass nickel-plated cover and inside a special cone made by the American company Beard.

Reso-banjo Capek was also purchased by Vince Gill, country star and winner of 22 Grammy awards.

The instrument is designed for players who are looking for a new sound that is not typical for a banjo, perhaps approaching a reso-guitar or harpsichord. For example, listen to the following recordings.

The wooden parts are made from maple or walnut. The fingerboard can have simple dots or a more complex Celtic or Nedski inlays (the great banjo player Ned Luberecki plays the reso-banjo Capek Nedski).
