Plectrum Old Era/Old Era Deluxe
Old Era is one of the exclusive models. It can be made of flamed maple or walnut.
This banjo is richly decorated with a combination of white and colored abalone mother-of-pearl, both on the headstock and on the fingerboard. The metal parts can be engraved (in the Deluxe version), electroplated with black nickel or 24K gold, or a combination of both, at the customer's request. It is also possible to order hand carving on the neck of the instrument.
Plectrum banjo was not very well known or widespread in our country before, but thanks to Ivan Mládek, for example, who has been using it for years, this is gradually changing.
Because the instrument can be tuned with the practical guitar tuning (so called Chicago tuning) EHGD, this instrument can equally replace the guitar banjo. Every guitarist can therefore start playing the banjo from day to day without any learning and enrich the usual monotony of guitar sessions with its sound.
In the world, it is most likely to be found in Dixieland and jazz bands, but where it is tuned DHGC.
